Partnership Allows for More Premium Options in Hong Kong

Combining XPENG's innovation and Sime Darby's holistic sales and aftersales strategy, the EV ownership experience will be elevated to the next level. The partnership will firstly introduce the all-electric SUV G6 and the flagship pure electric 7-seater X9 MPV, offering comprehensive service to Hong Kong users.
Additionally, Sime Darby Motor Group has been actively expanding the electric vehicle charging network across Hong Kong. Currently, there are 104 charging stations in parking lots and commercial buildings across all 18 districts. This year, the company will collaborate with major property developers to further expand the electric vehicle charging network, aiming to comprehensively support XPENG owners and pave the road for EV in Hong Kong.

Competitive Offering for Hong Kong

With Hong Kong’s One for One Replacement scheme, XPENG G6’s indicative price will be HKD299,900* (standard range battery) and HKD349,900* (long range battery). Reservations can be made at the auto show at Habour City and on the official XPENG Hong Kong website. The first batch of right-hand G6s are expected to be delivered in Q3 2024. Indicative price of XPENG X9 will be within HKD500,000* before tax.

Sime Darby Motors will also be offering a plenty of after-sales services to XPENG car owners. This includes maintenance services for 5 years/within 120,000km; optional vehicle warranty extension (in line with the original warranty entitlement); power battery and motor warranty of 8-years/160,000km and discounts at Kineta e-charging ports.

Inaugural Pop-Up plus XPENG Showrooms in Q3

XPENG will host a Pop-up shop in Hong Kong from May 20 to July 1 at D-Park, Tsuen Wan to showcase the SUV G6 and flagship seven-seater X9. It will followed by XPENG’s showroom in Yuen Long and Wan Chai in Q3 2024, for more auto enthusiasts to get a first-hand experience for XPENG’s revered inventions. As XPENG’s official distributor in Hong Kong, Sime Darby Motors’ maintenance and delivery centre in Shek Mun, Sha Tin will also be in full operation by Q3 2024.
