XPENG announced its entry into Hong Kong early this year partnering with Sime Darby Motors, XPENG’s official distributor in the Hong Kong market, making XPENG a top EV brand to watch in the city. The showroom was completed in only four months – testament to the brand’s confidence and devotion to Hong Kong’s e-vehicle market. 

500 Vehicles of G6 and X9 Pre-Ordered in Just Two months

XPENG flagship models – the e-SUV G6 and the 7-seater X9 – have been sought-after by Hong Kong drivers. Close to 500 orders have already been pre-ordered in the last 2 months. The first batch of e-SUV G6 will be delivered starting Q3. Every XPENG owners will receive Greater Bay Area insurance coverage so they can enjoy comprehensive support when travelling in Macao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhuhai. They will also have lifelong complimentary access to the XPENG App, whereby they can update their vehicles over the air (OTA), without the need to visit a service centre. 

Right-hand Drive G6 Leads the Market with an 800V Powertrain System, Reducing the Charging Time by Half

XPENG’s flagship e-SUV G6 right-hand drive highlights the 800V powertrain system and an 800V high-voltage SiC platform that allows an 80% charge in just 20 minutes, reducing charging time by half.

XPENG features the XPENG App that grants drivers full control in locking and unlocking their vehicles. They can also check the battery status, locate the vehicle and access other control shortcuts on the App. The G6’s smart interiors are further enhanced by rear-seat heating and bespoke adjustments for enhanced comfort. For entertainment, the G6 is equipped with a 14.96-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, plus a dual 50W cordless phone charger with air vents that keeps your devices cool even when charging.

Cantonese-Helmed In-car OS Set to Debut in Q4 2024

The Cantonese-helmed control system  will make its debut at the end of this year. Update the system via the OTA function on the XPENG App and control your car in a language you’re most familiar with. Get a taste of the system in the showroom and realise a never-before-seen bond between man and machine. 

Q4 Welcomes Flagship All-electric 7-Seater X9

The future is near: the right-hand drive 7-seater X9 will cruise into Hong Kong in Q4 2024. Features include a world-first, active rear-wheel steering system; a 21.4”infotainment system display – the biggest in its category; an in-vehicle hot and cold smart refrigerator plus plush seats.
