This appointment was formalized by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between XPENG, represented by Alex Tang, Head of International Division of Sales and Service, and Erajaya Active Lifestyle, represented by its CEO Djohan Sutanto. This milestone marks a significant step in XPENG’s global expansion, particularly in Asia, and reinforces its commitment to delivering AI-driven, sustainable mobility solutions worldwide.

Indonesia's electric vehicle (EV) market has grown rapidly, driven by government goals, to have 2 millions EV car and targeting 31.000 SPKLU/charging station by 2030 with providing government incentive of tax reductions for EV car purchase and stimulate local assembly process. XPENG’s entry into Indonesia aligns with this momentum.

The highly anticipated XPENG G6, a pure-electric mid-size coupe SUV and XPENG X9, a large 7-seater MPV, will be the first models launched in the Indonesia. Combining high performance, cutting-edge technology, and zero tailpipe emissions, the G6 offers 800-volt supercharging and an extended driving range. The large 7-seater X9 will also be expected to win Indonesia’s customer hearts who always love 7-seater MPV.
